Adventures in Eglaf

It would seem that the Peters, Lydia, and Five are making some serious headway with the portal repair...and the portal does not like that. In fact, it likes the idea of being repaired so little that it's going to rebel. And hoooboy is it gonna.

Starting at noon, Friday, November 25, 2022, all hell is about to break loose on the city of Eglaf and, make no mistake, the Displaced Supers are very much in the crosshairs.

Been jonesing for a power swap? Go for it. Want to play characters being aged up, aged down, or AUed temporarily? Have at it. Filter fails/network malfunctions? Check. Temporary allies or foes from home (if you can find someone to take them on)? Knock yourselves out. Wish granting or backfiring? Memory shares? Finding out that OOPS, YOU'RE FICTIONAL? Gaining new powers, losing existing ones, body swaps, invisible tethers? If you can dream it up, the portal is going to throw it at you.

The portal is pissed and it's pulling out all the stops. Let chaos reign (or don't, it's up to you) for the next couple of weeks. There are a couple of rules that need to be laid down, though, so here we go:

1. If your chaos involves other characters (be it sharing a memory that involves another playable character in any significant way, your character learning that they're fictional when there are other characters from that canon in-game, etc), you need to make sure that the other player(s) involved are on board fully. If not, tweak your chaos to make it work without involving their characters.
2. The chaos can be reined in early if characters want to work together hard enough to figure it out, however, doing so runs the risk of permanently disabling the portal, so proceed with caution both ICly and OOCly.
3. Some of the chaos has the potential to linger so make sure you discuss amongst each other if you want to have something remain in a way that might have an impact on someone else's character.
4. If you have questions, ask them. If you have suggestions, give them! This is our baby, not mine, so we're in this together!
5. Have fun!
